El Monkey – Aben

A performance inspired by the short story “Aben” (The Monkey), from Karen Blixens’ novel “Syv fantastiske fortællinger” (Seven Fantastic Tales). The performance was shaped and staged by the group Hopballehus, that consisted of international actors, dancers and musicians, with brackgrounds from schools and traditions such as Jaques Le Coq, Jerzy Grotowski, Commedia dell’arte and The Odin Theatre.
