The research of the Swedish composer Fritz Sjöström’s forgotten songs, brought to life a collaboration with pianist Elisabeth Klein (DE), and stage director Mia Theil Have (Riotous Company, UK). The Swedish title Narrvisor i Norrsken (eng. Jester Songs in Northern Light), is also the title of a collection of Sjöstöms’ song, as the character played/sung by Karin, is a jester (narr), in constantly shifting alter ego, in a journey through Fritz Sjöströms’ songs and poetic world.
The work was shared at the NTL-festival, Nordisk Teater Laboratorium, Odin Teatret, Denmark in 2018.
