About

Karin is a Swedish opera director, educator, singer and performer based in Denmark. She works in the interdisciplinary cross-field of theater, music drama, opera, physical theater, and visual arts. She is often combining the work of stage director with designing scenography and costumes.

The work on voice-text-expression is something she has explored for many years, with many voice and drama mentors and, on her own, composing songs and singing performances. See under Education &

She teaches “Physio Drama” at Operaakademiet (The Opera Academy) at The Royal Danish Academy of Music / The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen and “Music Drama” and “Performative Subject” at Syddansk Musikkonservatorium in Odense, Denmark. See under Educator
